Cardiff - DUBLIN - London

WOW what a week!
6am wake up Saturday 3rd of December, hair and make up done by 8am - It was time to shoot the first scene for the video! I am not going to give too much away about the video but we had an incredible weekend filming all over Cardiff including the beach at night time which was SO cold. Hats off to all the amazing actors and crew who stood out in the cold for hours. I had an incredible team around me and i am extremely grateful to everyone who took part because they worked so hard!

I needed lots of chocolate to get me through the weekend, i had a gig in London on Saturday night which was awesome however I managed to get locked out of my house so slept in my car! Classic! I then saw 5.30am for the first time ever when i started the drive back to Cardiff for day two filming. I spent the day filming in and around town with my beautiful friends Beth and Edd, we even had a cheeky van chaud to warm us up! We had a blast filming and i hope that you all enjoy the video. It will be out in a month or so, it is very energetic, romantic and filled with fun! I cannot wait for you to see it.

No rest for the wicked! Wednesday I ventured back to London in time for our flight on Thursday morning to Dublin. You won't believe how brave i was that day, i went out ALIEN eyes! haha no mascara all the way to Dublin, i scared a few people on the way but 5.30am is not a time for make up. We had hundreds of CD's ready for the trip as the lucky people at the gig got a hard copy of the single a day early! The flight was just awful, i hate flying anyway but this flight was particularly bad, Beth and i genuinely thought we were going to crash on landing! We distracted ourselves by signing all the CD's on the flight and getting hyper on sweets - hmmmm they were yummy!

We made it to Dublin and WOW what a place! It is so awesome, i literally couldn't understand a word anyone was saying but they are all so jolly! The city is amazing, i really recommend heading over there for a visit. We found a lovely Irish pub and had traditional Irish food and a nice cup of tea to warm us up. We definitely didn't spend an hour in the Disney shop on the way to sound check and we definitely didn't contemplate buying princess dresses to wear on stage.

We soundchecked (the sound system was amazing and the sound guys were so cute with their little irish accents) and then waited for Sharon to arrive, it was so beautiful to see her! She is looking AMAZING and boy can the girl sing! We had a giggle and a catch up and then i left her to prepare for her big night.

We headed out to find a nice place to eat. Now i cannot lie, we did try and get into lots of restaurants but some how we ended up in Burger king - considering i haven't had fast food in months, i was actually very glad we had 'somehow' ended up in Burger king. It was magical!

Show time! 9.30pm i peeped round the corner to see lots of lovely faces :) I couldn't wait to get on stage.
I loved performing, the gig went really well and i loved doing an acoustic set for you guys.
Shaz rocked it as always and Leigh, Shaz and I had a little sing song together at the end 'We found Love'.

Thank you SO much to Shaz for having us as her support act, i absolutely loved it and just having the opportunity to support someone so talented and so lovely was a pleasure. I hope we stay friends for a long time, she literally makes me laugh so much! I cannot wait for round two here in London on the 26th of January, i hope to see lots of you lovely people there.

It was lovely to meet and catch up with lots of you that night, i hope i get to meet all my fans one day. A young girl at the gig told me that my music inspired her and this made my trip, it was such a beautiful thing to say to me, thank you. I met some fab people from the beauty team and some of shaz family, all in all it was a brilliant night.

Friday morning came as a shock and soon we were back in swaby land and mummy swaby took us for a fry up! What a babe! She knows me too well :). Poor Beth powered through the trip with a nasty chest infection but you will be glad to know she is on the mend, she is hard core! Love her.

OMG the single was out the next day. Where had the time gone?!
I tried to play it cool by not talking about it too much but i seemed to slip it into conversation with everyone that day :) whoops - i was just too excited!

12pm Saturday the 10th of December " I'm still young " was released .
It was such a special day for me. The song is OUT NOW for free download.

I have had so much support from my family, friends and lovely fans. The single release is going so well, we are well over 500 downloads in just 3 days. You have all been so supportive and given me so much love, i received lots of lovely christmas cards and fan mail. You guys spoil me but i am so thankful for everything you do for me and i am so glad that you like the single.

The plan is to now publish the music video and then gig! YAY i have missed performing live because of all the production and recording but i cannot wait to start up again!

Remember 26TH JANUARY LONDON - don't miss out. I promise it will be an amazing night.

Roll on the next few weeks and CHRISTMAS DAY!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very very happy new year to you all.
Thank you for reading and keeping updated.

Lots of Love and cuddles,
Chloe xx
